- Everything Has Changed
"Everything has changed is a collaboration between visual artist Deirdre Mc Kenna, and sonic artist Cavan Fyans. Mc Kenna and Fyans use a sequence of conversations and life experiences to inform compositions and sonic arrangement. UFO sightings, containment, love and hunting are some of the subjects explored." - CATALYST ARTS
The audio for the installation was created through the interaction of the viewer, with the use of sonar sensors the viewers proximity to each pod was tracked. The tracked values were then used to process and manipulate the sound and the sonic properties of the sound presented to the individual viewer.
Displayed at the Sonic Arts Research Centre and in the Bring the Noise event at the Catalyst Arts Centre as part of the Belfast Festival '07.
